Yazaki's success began in 1929 when Sadami Yazaki started selling automotive wiring harnesses, and in 1941, Yazaki Electric Wire Industrial Co. Ltd. was established with about 70 employees. In 1949, Sadami Yazaki's strategic focus on automotive wiring harnesses laid the foundation for Yazaki's global leadership today.
Since then, Yazaki has developed numerous products supporting various energy sources, including electricity transmission cables, gas security systems, and air-conditioning equipment. These products now form the environment and energy equipment operations, Yazaki Group's second-largest organization, highlighting its commitment to an environmentally friendly future.
